JEE Main 2020 Application Form – Registration, Exam Date, New Exam Pattern
Registration for JEE Main 2020 has begun for the admission to an undergraduate program in NITs, IITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. This year JEE Main will be conducted twice, this will give one more opportunity to the students to improve their scores in examination if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year. This will also reduce chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year. The student’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for the preparation of merit list.

JEE Main 2020 Registration

The first JEE (Main) exam will be conducted between 6th January 2020 (Monday) and 11th January 2020 (Saturday) and the second JEE (Main) exam will be conducted between 3rdApril 2020 and 9th April 2020. The registration for JEE (Main) 2020 has been started from 3rd September 2019 and will be closed on 30th September 2019. JEE aspirants must submit the registration fee before 1st October 2019 through Credit/Debit card, Net banking, UPI, and PAYTM service before 11:50 pm.

JEE Main Application Form

Application form other than online mode will not be accepted, in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by the candidate. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected. Candidates need to apply for JEE (Main) on the official JEE website. Students are advised to keep the following things ready while filling the application form
  • All the qualification details
  • Scanned passport size photograph in JPG/JPEG format(size between 10 kb – 200 kb)
  • Scanned photograph of signature in JPG/JPEG format(size between 4 kb – 30 kb)
  • A valid email ID as all communication will take place through emails.
  • Valid mobile number as all information will be sent through SMS.
  • Valid credit/debit card, Net banking account, UPI, or PAYTM Service.
Candidates must ensure their eligibility and be aware of the requirements for submission of Online Application Form. No correction can be made after the submission of an application. The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment at NTA websites and if the status is ‘OK’ the candidate will be able to take the printout of Confirmation Page. If the fee is paid through credit/debit card /Netbanking/UPI /PAYTM and status is not OK, it means the transaction has been canceled and the amount will, automatically, be refunded to concerned credit/debit card/Net Banking/UPI/PAYTM Account within 15 days. Therefore, such candidates will have to pay the fee again.
